ARTWORK #45 - Marc Dillon
The Unseen art project is an initiative taken by Marc Dillon in order to make art accessible for blind people. In the majority of museums dealing with classical painting, there is a “do not touch” warning. What about the blinds then? Marc Dillon tries to answer the question by printing replicas of pictural artworks as sculptures through 3D printing technology. This way, the artwork can be touch and felt both in exhibitions and in people’s home.
“Creating equal access for art globally is our passion and goal”.
With this mission, the project allows people around the world who have heard of classical artwork their whole life but are unable to see them to discover it through touch. A crowdfunding campaign to support the project is live on Indiegogo go check it out!
