ARTWORK #41 - Monique Van Uden
Today’s inspirational post is about Monique Van Uden, a Dutch artist that conceives amazing and very complex paper cuts pieces of art. She manages to get very detailed shapes and silhouettes of women, men and animals with simple tools like laser and X-Acto knife. Her work is characterised by the use of positive and negative spaces using coloured paper when making the cuts in the paper. The result is very graphical and ornamental.
